Yesterday was a SIX Green Arrow Day.

Memorial Day Weekend

Week Ending May 24, 2020

Good Morning,

Each week we review the daily statistics and aggregate them to get the seven-day view, which mutes some of the day-to-day anomalies. Below are the three categories in summary.

New Case Rate:

New case rates have steadily declined and are down about 30% since April 24th. Seven out of the last eight days, the new case rate was 1.5% or less.

Death Rates:

Fatalities have dropped 45% since April 19th. The steady decline is attributable to lower new cases and our healthcare system adapting to caring for COVID 19 patients.

Negative Test Rates:

Positive tests fell to just over 5% from almost 20% since April 19th.

This is the most encouraging statistic because it first shows our increased capacity to test people and more importantly almost 95 of those tested do not have COVID 19.
